I’ve just tested the last version of Eltima’s Flash Decompiler Trillix 3.1, and there are some cool features it worth to be mention. I never used before Trillix, but now on, i can say that will be my first option, and i will tell you why:

1 - The Trillix have a cool layout, similar to the office 2007 menu, which is much more intuitive and attractive;

2 - This decompiler give us the capability to modify the swf “on the go”. For example, i have the swf, and i just want to change a sound or some of the images, for a new one. Using Trillix, you just need to click in the button, and it’s done.

3 - You can search inside the swf file, for and exact word, value or expression, by using some kind of actionscript search engine, which help us very much when we have just forgot where we placed it.

4 - A very nice thing on the decompiled movies, is that the code is not all exported to the first frame, but to the the original one.

5 - It works faster than other that i’ve used in the past, and don’t crash.

Well, i don’t need to mention that supports as3, and flash 9!!! The price for Trillix, is about EUR 56.00, not good, but not bad too.

Biskero, is a nice site using PV3D, that shows you several ways to graphically display data. It is one of the showcases, about data display. Hope it can helps you, on your future projects, when handling with graphic data.

Hobnox has just launched the Audiotool demo, and i can say… it’s really awesome!!! They did a great job! Now you can compose your own music, using this nice application. As Flash “Don’t make noise”, they used java for the audio signal. You can find a more complete review on this application at the Andre Michelle blog, which belongs to the Audiotool team. If you have no idea on how to put the emulator working, then check their video tutorial, which will introduce you to this awesome application.

A cool example with source of a very realistic tree, using PV3D and Collada.

In this nice tutorial, you are going to look at how to recreate the same color and motion blur effect used in the movie poster for the biggest action movie of the 2007 summer, the Bourne Ultimatum.
