We hope you all will be glad to hear that we have resolved the problem with 3DStudio Max and now you can download the new version (1.2) from our site.

We have also included the possibility with the online Publisher and from within html, to setup Flash so that the variable "Antialiasing on Play" is set by default to on.

Good Publishing

WaiLam - We wrote Sophie using Rhino 4 but it should work with Rhino 3. We shall contact Rhino to check. Sophie 3D is simple to use but currently it is not very tolerant. If you have one of the parameters wrong (e.g. size) or do not include all the files included in the obj export, it will not display your model.
Test your Rhino model - cut and paste your models into one of our sample models. In that way you will also be able to:
- use the light;
- check that your model fits within the 5x5unit bounding box (if not you will need to scale it). This may be the problem with your model.

If you are still having problems you can send us your model and we'll prepare it for publishing and tell you what was wrong. Let us know here or at our new blog at http://sophie3d.blogspot.com

Also, i try with rhino 3. No luck, the model can't see on the player. I just have a simple cube on the screen. Hope the compatibility will improve in the future.

Thanks for trying our player out, it is fast and it can work with large models (for flash): the Bugatti on the tutorials page has 69000 polygons. We are sorry that you have been having problems exporting from Max and hope to resolve this problem over this and next week.
