Ok I just read your article and found it to be very good. My problem is I created a video in AF and exported it to AVI. I then brought it into Flash Encoder and created the FLV file. and embeded the flash file in dream weaver for my site. My problem is I can't figure out how to remove the control bar on my site so it is not visable. Can you help me? Look at my site and you will see what I am talking about.

THanks

Thanks for the tutorial. But actually I also was looking for something similar to the comment above. In my case either a "no skin option" as in Flash or the option of opening up a skin and making some changes, also, as in Flash (cs3). I can only find the .swf files for the skins no .fla files (in dreamweaver).

Any help would earn good Kama points.

thanks

From reading the tutorial on creating custom Flash video skins (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/flv_tutorial_pt2_02.html), I learned at the bottom of page 2 that "The skins for the FLVPlayback component in Flash Professional 8, and the skins for the Flash Video component in Dreamweaver 8 are not interchangeable". First the obvious question -- why in the world not? The skin selections in Flash are much nicer than the default skins in Dreamweaver, but I don't want to have to use Flash every time I need to embed a video.

Are there any good sites out there for downloading skins that are compatible with Dreamweaver's FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf?
